The short version: Free-QR69 is free to use for any personal or commercial purpose. Don't use it to create QR codes pointing to anything illegal or harmful. We provide the tool as-is without any warranties.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Free-QR69 ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Free-QR69 is a free, browser-based tool that generates static QR codes from URLs and other inputs you provide. All processing occurs locally within your web browser.
3. Permitted Use
You may use Free-QR69 for any lawful purpose, including:
- Personal projects, hobbies, and educational use
- Commercial use including marketing, packaging, and advertising
- Use on physical products, business cards, menus, and signage
- Use in printed materials and digital media
No attribution is required. The QR codes you generate are yours.
4. Prohibited Use
You agree NOT to use Free-QR69 to create QR codes that link to:
- Illegal content or activities in your jurisdiction
- Malware, phishing pages, or malicious software
- Content that infringes on others' intellectual property
- Harassment, hate speech, or content that incites violence
- Fraudulent or deceptive websites
- Child sexual abuse material or content harmful to minors
You are solely responsible for the URLs you encode and how you use the resulting QR codes.
5. No Warranty
Free-QR69 is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that generated QR codes will scan correctly in all conditions or with all scanning apps. Always test-scan your QR codes before mass printing or production use.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Free-QR69 and its operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to misprinted QR codes, broken links, or business losses.
7. Intellectual Property
The Free-QR69 brand, design, and underlying code are owned by us. The QR codes you generate using the tool — including any logos or images you upload — remain yours. We claim no rights over your generated codes.
8. Third-Party Resources
Free-QR69 uses external resources (Google Fonts, Cloudflare CDN, QR generation libraries). These have their own terms of service and we are not responsible for them.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms occasionally. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the latest revision. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
10. Termination
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time without prior notice.
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be interpreted in accordance with applicable laws in the jurisdiction where the Service is operated, without regard to conflict-of-law provisions.
